product, except the water friendly sandals, have a cork footbed
which has made Birkenstock so popular! The footbed molds to you
footprint over time, becoming similar to an orthotic. The Birkenstock
footbed has a recessed heel, allowing your heel to sit back in the
neutral position, taking pressure away from your lower back, knees
and hips. The footbed also has built in arch and metatarsal support.
This extra support often helps to reduce or eliminate pain
associated with plantar fascitis and heel spurs.

Common repairs are resoling, replacing buckles, heel wedges and
